Serendipity

This is a secret no one tells us
and perhaps the reason why
is that no one really knows
how a tiny ripple can change
an entire reality.
In these whiskey nights we recall
the day I saw you from across a crowded room
(or was it you who saw me first)
and we knew,
we knew with every inch of our bodies
that this is what we have been looking for.
This is what we have been waiting for.
Maybe it was fate
that led us to serendipity.
Maybe some things
are just meant to be.

  1. Sometimes, thinking about how and why things happen can make us feel trapped, so, it’s best, that we should just, let it go, and hold on to the faith, that everything will resolve itself out somehow, the way it’s supposed to work out in the very end…
