A Dangerous Line

We are walking a dangerous line,
any closer we’d be
bound for disaster
(but we both know we want it)
So we let our eyes do the talking,
and our hands wander
just a little too close
for comfort
(but tonight comfort is not what we are looking for)
We are looking for something to fill
the emptiness of a lonely heart,
the ache of a desire
we can’t quite suppress.
